Written from a personal, philosophical perspective
The subconscious is the living, continuous process of latent thinking that unfolds within our mind and supports the internal mechanism of consciousness. It is not merely a repository of traumas, but an active system that automatically, rapidly, and constantly processes all the information perceived by our whole being. From my perspective, it is the foundation of consciousness and personal evolution.
It works like a “little house of the mind”: it analyzes the informational environment, anticipates dangers, and prepares rapid responses. Instinct and the subconscious are not separate, instincts arise from learned processes that come to run automatically. The subconscious shapes identity through gestures, mental patterns, facial expressions, procedural memory, and habits.
Memories do not disappear: they become unavailable to consciousness but remain accessible procedurally. The subconscious not only stores, but also orders, filters, and reinvents reactions, offering quick solutions based on lessons accumulated. It is, ultimately, your inner laboratory, the place from which intuitions, reflexes, and spontaneous creativity arise.
